After 3 years at the helm of Platforum Heather Hopkins has decided that the time is right to pursue her own career in the consultancy and research space.
Under Heather’s leadership Platforum has firmly established itself as the reference point in the boardroom for leading platform and financial services organisations. Together with the brand’s expert team we have seen the business grow, moving from a single reports business to a successful subscriptions, events and consultancy operation. Heather leaves with our thanks and best wishes for the future.
Heather says: ‘I am proud of what the team at Platforum have accomplished over the past three years. We have grown revenue and profitability of the brand while at the same time strengthening our position as the reference point for retail investment distribution. I am grateful for the support of our customers, partners and friends across the retail investments community and for the support of Centaur Media.’
Following Heather’s decision, we are delighted to announce that Jeremy Fawcett will be taking over the reins as Head of Platforum. Jeremy was previously Platforum’s Research Director with responsibility for intermediated and direct investment distribution in the UK and further afield. He has been a key member of the team for 6 years and is well placed to lead the team and brand forward. Jeremy will take on full responsibility for all content and commercial operations and will report directly to Piers Johnson the Deputy Managing Director of Centaur Media’s Financial portfolio.
Jeremy says: ‘Having worked with the team for some time, I know that we have the talent and expertise to influence the development of one of the most dynamic areas of financial services. I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead Platforum into its next chapter.‘
Heather will be leaving Centaur on 16th December to ensure a smooth management transition.
